Welcome to day 12 of Blogmas. Today’s post isn’t going to be a normal Blogmas post. And there is one very good reason for this, today is my nans funeral. And I really cannot stand to put up something really cheerful and festive. But I still wanted to post something for you. So today I am just going to be sharing a few pictures with you of something that I did over the weekend.
Over the last weekend I decided to have a go at making a book Christmas tree. If you have never heard of these before, basically, you build a Christmas tree out of books from your shelves. The main challenge with this is finding similar size books for each layer, working out how big you can go (based on the amount of books that you have), making everything balance and then putting your shelves back together again afterwards. But I decided to give it a go since I have always thought that these looked really cool. So, here is my attempt.
Have you ever made a book tree before? This took me so long to make. I hope that you don’t mind that this wasn’t the usual Blogmas post and that you understand why I didn’t feel like doing one. I hope that you have enjoyed todays post and I will see you all again tomorrow.
