First Impressions: Garnier Moister Bomb Camomile Tissue Mask

Hey Guys!

Welcome back. Today I am going to be doing another first impressions post. And this time it is for another face mask. Any of you that have followed me for a while will know that I am very lazy when it comes to my skincare. I do the absolute bare minimum and I very rarely do anything special for skin, i.e., use facemasks. But a few months ago my mum brought the two of use one of the new Garnier Moister Bomb Facemasks (with the intention of use having a girly afternoon) but we never got around to using them. that is until a few days ago when I got fed up with looking at them and used mine. So, I thought that I would share my thoughts on it with you.

The first thing I am going to say is that I hate the smell of this one. I don’t know what it is about it, but I just don’t like it. it had a very generic, facemask smell and it was kind strong and I just didn’t like it. but I do think that may just be a me thing. Besides that, I quiet liked it.

I will admit that I wasn’t the biggest fan of the texture. With most sheet masks that I have used in the past the solution on them is very liquid-y, but with this one it was more of a gel consistency. This just meant that it was very strange to touch and left you hand kind of sticky when you put the mask on. It also left me skin a bit sticky after I had taken it off. I couldn’t really touch my face for a good half hour because it was sticky. But, I do think that the consistency of this mask did work in its favour. It was very moisturising. And cooling. I used this on a very warm evening and it was very pleasantly cooling on my face. I was also impressed with how well it stayed on my face. A lot of the time with sheet masks they kind of just slide of your face, this one didn’t. it actually stayed.

I did find that it did leave a lot of excess product on my face once I had taken it off, but since you can rub this one in, that wasn’t too bad. Even if it did take a long while to completely absorb. And once the stickiness had faded from my skin, my face did feel very soft. Very moisturised. And the moisture lasted for a good few days. Overall I did quiet like this one. I won’t be rushing out to get another one anytime soon, but if I ever see it on offer again (I got mine for £1 instead off £2.99), I will pick it up again. I do know that they do about 4 different ones in this range as well, which I may have a look at, at some point in the future. But all in all, not the best product in the world, but still pretty decent.

Have you tried this one yet? What did you think about it? are there any face masks that you think I should give a try? I hope that you have enjoyed todays post and I will see you all again soon.
