Book Haul

Hey Guys!

I did it again. I brought even more books. Although to be fair, I started to buy these books in mid-late July. But still, I seriously have a problem. I really need to stop. And this is bloody giant as well. Whoops. Anyway, since I have literally no self-control when it comes to books, something that I keep proving, let’s do a book haul.

Anything To Have You by Paige Harbison – The Works (£1.05)

This was supposed to be £2 but I had a discount code and my most recent points reward voucher so I got it for £1.05. I also picked up some Mortal Instruments badges at the same time, which I paid nothing for due to my points.

Wuthering Tights by Louise Rennison – Charity Shop (£1)

Queen Of Shadows by Sarah J Maas – Charity Shop (£1)

The Forever Song by Julia Kagawa – Charity Shop (£1)

I cannot for the life of me remember which charity shop these where from, but I am definitely going to be going into it more often. All of these are in perfect condition, like new and where so damn cheap. I love them. Also, I know that I haven’t read any Throne Of Glass books yet, and that I only own the first one, but for £1 I couldn’t leave it there, so I now own books 1 and 4 lol. I will read them eventually. And also, The Forever Song isn’t in the edition that I would like, but, the one I want is near impossible to get, so for £1 this one will do until I eventually find the right one.

Because You Love To Hate Me by Various – Amazon (Pre-order £5.59)

All That She Can See by Carrie Hope Fletcher – Amazon (Pre-order £6.49)

On The Other Side by Carrie Hope Fletcher – Amazon (£2.81)

The Iron Trial: Magisterium by Cassandra Clare and Holly Black – Amazon (£2.80)

Vampire Knight V2 by Hino Matsuri – Amazon (£2.79)

A Midsummer Tights Dream by Louise Rennison – Amazon (£2.81)

The Taming Of The Tights by Louise Rennison – Amazon (£2.81)

180 Seconds by Jessica Park – Amazon (3 for £10)

Juniper Lemon’s Happiness Index by Julie Israel – Amazon (3 for £10)

Love & Gelato by Jenna Evans Welch – Amazon (3 for £10)

I have literally no self-control. Let’s just move on

History Is All You Left Me by Adam Silvera – WHSmith (3 for 2)

After The Fire by Will Hill – WHSmith (3 or 2)

Am I Normal Yet? By Holly Bourne – WHSmith (3 for 2)

When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhy Menon – WHSmith (3 for 2)

An Ember In The Ashes by Sabaa Tahir – WHSmith (3 for 2)

The Novice by Taran Matharu – WHSmith (3 for 2)

I feel the need to expain this one. This was on two separate occasions and was brought with money that I received for my birthday. There is nothing I particularly want at the moment so I decided to treat myself and take advantage of this brilliant offer and pick up some books that I have wanted for ages. Also, all 6 of the books that I picked up are ones that are basically never reduced on amazon or elsewhere.

Miss You by Kate Eberlen – WHSmith (£3.99)

The House Of New Beginnings by Lucy Diamond – WHSmith (£3.99)

My Not So Perfect Life by Sophie Kinsella – WHSmith (£3.99)

I’ve been taking advantage of the half price books recently. These are usually new releases. I am trying to read a little bit more adult literature (1 a month) but I don’t really know many adult authors that I like, so this feels like the best way to test a few.

An Illustrated History of Notable Shadowhunters and Denizens of Downworld by Cassandra Clare and Cassandra Jean – WHSmith (£12.99)

Geekerella by Ashley Poston – Waterstones (BOGOHP)

The Upside Of Unrequited by Becky Albertalli – Waterstones (BOGOHP)

My best friend gave me a Waterstones gift voucher for my birthday last month so I took the opportunity to pick up these to lovely little books, both of which I have wanted to read since they came out. Still have half my voucher to spend though lol.

And there we have it. that was my worryingly huge book haul. I really really need to stop buying books. I think I am going to try doing myself a deal. I am not allowed to buy a new book, until I have read five from my TBR……let’s see how long that lasts……. anyway, what have you brought anyway? Got any recommendations for me? I hope that you have enjoyed todays post and I will see you all again very soon.

    1. I hope so too 🙂. I’ve been wanting to read it ever since it first came out in the states last year (but couldn’t get a hold of a copy of it until recently). Hopefully I will be able to get to it soon 😁 xx
